Rules of Survival Legacy is Under Development at Myth Games—not a NetEase relaunch—and has not released yet on PC. The original client shut down on June 27, 2022, so every ranking on this hub comes from classic ROS knowledge that veterans used in live matches. Treat these lists as preparation material: Myth Games may change weapon stats, attachment pools, and loot tables when Legacy launches on chain.mythgames.net.
This hub organizes three focused tier lists. Each page uses the same S-through-F framework so you can compare guns, mods, and drop zones without mixing criteria. When Legacy goes live, revisit these pages after the first balance patch and join the community on Discord to share early meta reports.
What each tier list covers
Weapons tier list
The weapons page ranks assault rifles, SMGs, DMRs, and snipers from classic ROS—M4A1, ACR, QBZ-95, Thompson, AWM, SVD, Barrett M82A1, and the rest of the familiar arsenal. Rankings assume standard BR rules: limited ammo, third-person peeking, and fast time-to-kill at close range. Legacy may tune recoil patterns or magazine sizes, but understanding which guns dominated Ghillie Island and Fearless Fiord lobbies gives you a head start on loadout decisions.
Attachments tier list
Scopes, grips, muzzles, and extended magazines often matter more than the base gun. The attachments page explains which mods pushed A-tier rifles into S-tier territory in classic ROS and which silencers were worth the inventory slot on snow maps. Drop locations tier list
Landing choice decides whether you find an ACR within sixty seconds or spend ten minutes punching trees. Rankings weigh time-to-kill, recoil controllability, ammo efficiency, attachment compatibility, and loot rarity. A Barrett is S-tier on paper but F-tier if you never find .50 BMG. Drop zones ranked S-tier on Ghillie Island may be B-tier on the larger Fearless Fiord map because travel time and third-party risk differ.
Connect tier lists to maps and builds
Tier lists do not exist in a vacuum. Before you memorize an S-tier rifle, read the maps hub to learn player counts (~120 on Ghillie Island, ~300 on Fearless Fiord) and named POIs like Bitter Lake, Training Base, Observatory, and Rust Bay. Cross-reference loot spots when a drop location tier feels wrong for your squad size.
For full loadout planning, combine weapon tiers with future builds pages and the Getting Started guide. A classic ROS aggressive build might prioritize Thompson or Vector early, then swap to M4A1 or ACR after the first military crate. A sniper build chains AWM or Barrett tiers with 8x scope rankings from attachments and high-ground POIs from drop locations.
Legacy may change everything—why classic meta still helps
Myth Games has not published final weapon spreadsheets. Layouts on returning maps could shift crate spawns or rename compounds. Even so, classic ROS taught millions of players how recoil, peeking, and circle pressure interact. Players who studied old meta arrive at Legacy launch day with faster decision-making: which house to clear first, when to ditch a QBZ for an AKM, and whether Rust Bay is worth the third-party gamble.
Do not trust unofficial APK downloads claiming early access—there is no verified official mobile or sideload build from Myth Games. Stick to the official site and Discord for release news.
